  • Jodo (13yrs - Adult)(Age: 16+ yrs)      Jodo is practiced as prearranged Katas with one person attacking with a wooden sword (bokken) while the other counter attacks with a stick (Jo). A well performed Kata is one where the attacks are done with intensity. This means the defender must move with speed and confidence or they will be struck. with Kevin Walsh

  • Judo (6-10yrs)(Age: 6 - 10 yrs)      Teaches young children important personal skills like cooperation, listening, focus, teamwork, confidence.This is achieved through working with a partner on practical skills like learning how to fall safely, throwing their partner and wrestling on the ground. As the children's skills grow their self confidence blossoms. There are also many games designed to develop their personal skills.  with Kevin Walsh

  • Iaido (13yrs - Adult)(Age: 13+ yrs)      Iaido is a type of Japanese swordsmanship. Practice is made up almost entirely of kata, or prearranged sets of motion designed to respond to a particular attack by another swordsman. Iaido training builds arm, leg and core strength. The training provides a light cardiovascular workout. with Kevin Walsh
