Australian Shibu Rensei Taikai

Sunday 17th March 2024    9:30am  –  4:30pm

This event is open to DNBK ID dojos AND other dojos that at not members of DNBK ID that teach a Japanese martial art.
The minimum age for attendance is 14 years.

The format of the DNBK ID Rensei Taikai is different to most martial arts events. This event will consist of three parts.

  1. Seminars taught by prominent instructors.
  2. The opportunity to be tested for DNBK certification (for eligible existing DNBK ID members).
  3. Demonstrate your dojo’s style of martial arts.

This Rensei Taikai will provide the opportunity to:

  • apply for membership to the prestigious Dai Nippon Butoku Kai International Division (Kyoto Japan).
  • achieve grading recognition and certification from Japan (for existing DNBK ID members).
  • meet other like-minded martial artists from around the country.
  • demonstrate your martial arts expertise.
  • attend seminars presented by prominent instructors.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation. Existing DNBK ID members will receive a certificate from DNBK Honbu (provided they register before 14th January 2024). All other participants including DNBK ID members who miss the cut-off date will receive certificates from DNBK ID Australian Shibu.
